Booking Procedure
The travel agreement is concluded by acceptance of Paradise Waves of a written letter, e-mail, telephone or electronic registration by the passenger. The booking form should be completed fully and correctly. When the reservation is made for a group or for more than one person, the head booker is liable for all obligations under the agreement. For bookings of a minor, the passenger must provide the registration of a signature of the parent or guardian.
Payment
Upon receipt of the invoice and booking, the deposit must be made within 7 days by transfer into the account of Paradise Waves, Post bank giro number: 4307409. The remainder of the payment should be received by Paradise Waves at the latest 6 weeks before departure. When booking within 6 weeks before the departure date, the total sum should be transferred into the Paradise Waves bank account directly on the same day. When these conditions are not met, Paradise Waves has the right to cancel the registration, although this does not imply that the passenger is free of payment requirements. All costs incurred by any collection and / or judicial procedure entails shall be borne by the participant. When the commitment is met, you will receive no later than 2-4 weeks before departure the necessary travel documents, specific information, program, lists, addresses, required equipment, etc.
Cancellation by the participant
Cancellation by the participant can only be done in writing (by registered letter). The date of the postmark will be deemed as the cancellation’s date. Please find below the cancellation fees charges.
Over 56 days prior to the departure, you are only accountable for the totality of the deposit.
From the 56th (inclusive) to the 28th day prior to the departure, you are accountable for 60% of the fare.
From the 28th (inclusive) to the 14th day prior to the departure, you are accountable for 85% of the fare.
From the 14th day (inclusive ) to the departure of the tour, you are accountable for the full cost of the trip.
Modification by participant
For any modification after the booking, Paradise Waves charges a nominal fee to cover administration costs. Paradise Waves is not obliged to accept any change or modification requested by the participant. Request for change or modification made by the participant is only possible when it has been done 2 weeks prior to the trip or the surf camp. Each change or modification must be discussed with Paradise Waves. Paradise Waves' fee for changes/modifications is EUR 25.
Program and price changes:
All programs and prices are subject to change. The organizers reserve the right to modify a course or camp, to cancel tours, as well as to implement changes in the travel route and / or program, for valid reasons (e.g., weather, lack of participants, etc). Prices may vary in relation to the amounts indicated in the brochure and the site of Paradise Waves in the following cases:
- Price by third parties (airline tax, oil prices - and hotel prices)
- Program Changes (e.g., weather)
Transport prices changes
With increases in fuel prices of more than 3%, as well as changes in legislation / collective agreements with financial implications for air and bus transport, any surcharge will be charged directly to the participant. Obviously, Paradise Waves will inform the participants in such eventuality. Paradise Waves expressly reserves the right to change prices and packages if the situation demands it.
Insufficient participants
All activities are based on a minimum number of participants. If this minimum number of registrations is not met, we will contact you in due course to inform you. If the number of participants is too small, we reserve the right to cancel the surf camp or trip. We will inform you if this happens as soon as possible (no later than 2 weeks in advance) and we will directly refund your payment.
Force Majeure
When we encounter exceptional circumstances of (war, natural catastrophes, strikes, transport difficulties, etc) reservations can be cancelled without compensation.
Liability
Paradise Waves is generally not liable for damage, theft, loss, injury or accident caused to the participants / applicants. Also, no liability is accepted for damage caused to the participants / applicants by using any of the available facilities or accommodation, including, hotels, hostels, surf materials. Neither will we, as organizers, be held liable for delays and / or damage suffered by participants / applicants as a result of mechanical breakdown, the crossing of borders, natural disasters, revolution, war, strikes, illness or other causes. The participant is liable for theft or loss of the materials made available by Paradise Waves.
Complaints
Complaints should be reported directly to a representative of Paradise Waves. If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolved, then the complaint should be made in written, including a signature of both parties (the participant and the representative of Paradise Waves), within a month after the trip. Complaints which have not been signed by one or both of the signatories cannot be considered.
General
The guides reserve the right to a route change, if it is in the interest of the group. This provision shall also apply in cases of misconduct. All resulting consequences and costs will be borne by the excluded. The subject will not be entitled to reimbursement of travel or of a portion thereof. If a participant decides to prematurely terminate their journey (or a portion thereof), or does not want to participate to activities, they are not entitled to reimbursement of travel (in part or in full).
