After months of rumors about the location of this year’s Rip Curl Pro Search Event, it is official now: Peniche, Portugal, has been chosen as the second last stop of the 2009 ASP World Tour. The event will be held from the 19th until the 28th of October. The top forty-five of world’s best surfers will battle for points, and rakings in the powerful barrels of the infamous supertubos, known to be one of the best and heaviest beachbreaks in the world.
Of course Paradise Waves will be there, to provide you with all the great pictures and video, as our crew is going to Peniche during the event with a special photographer, and a camera crew.
